Delta’s Federal Government client created security awareness training that needed to be delivered to the contracted staff at Delta. In addition, security awareness training specific to Delta’s support environment needed to be created and delivered in a timely manner to adhere to FISMA guidelines.
Delta deployed experienced information security staff members proficient in all major domains of information security and the NIST framework. Expertise Delta had gained by creating and delivering a nationwide security awareness program for a major healthcare manufacturer was leveraged, and a three-part program was created and executed which enabled Delta’s client to achieve FISMA and NIST compliance.
Delta’s ability to leverage its experiences and proficiencies in information security training brought the support of the mission-critical application into compliance with NIST guidelines, an integral requirement for Delta’s customer. Delta’s creation of security awareness training material and supporting programs provided a framework to continue contractor compliance training on an annual basis as required by the NIST framework in a cost-efficient manner.
