Description

The IP Office Support Engineer will manage the troubleshooting and resolution of Avaya IP Office, including its applications and peripherals (including; Voice Mail, Call Accounting, etc).

SKILLS

  • 3+ years applied experience within the telecom industry with specific expertise in voice engineering.
  • Must be able to handle isolation and resolution of telephony, VoIP, IP Telephones, DTI/PRI trunk and POTS outages.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve networks, firewalls, routers
  • Ideally has experience with ACD configurations
  • Must have experience with wiring and cabling 
  • Knowledge and use of PC platforms and software
  • Good written and verbal skills 
  • Be able to work independently and build excellent customer relationships
  • The ideal candidate is current with Avaya IP Office skills (very proficient in IP Office up to release 9.1, know IPOCC, one-x, and must have troubleshot and resolved mutli-node systems issues) 
  • Good communications skills
  • Experience with ticketing
  • Dependable

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Certifications: Avaya IP Office certification is desired
